Dr. Buechner started her career in veterinary medicine in 2003, when she graduated from the Saskatchewan Institute of Applied Science and Technology at the top of her veterinary technology class. She then worked as a veterinary technician at the Western College of Veterinary Medicine, in Saskatchewan, Canada, as an ophthalmology technician and discovered her passion for veterinary ophthalmology. Lindsay graduated from University of New Hampshire with a B.S. in wildlife ecology, and started in the veterinary industry after graduation as a veterinary assistant. She has worked in a wide range of animal-related settings, from single doctor general practice, to zoos and multi-doctor practices. She has been managing veterinary hospitals since 2012, and joined VCA in 2021.
